A new hotline, developed by ASA and APSF, is now available to provide guidance on using anesthesia machines to support ICU patients when there are not enough ventilators, and to educate anesthesia professionals in general critical care principles in the use of those machines.

While call agents will be available 24/7 to provide web-based resources, physician experts will be on call daily, per the schedule below:

  • 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. ET
  • 5:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. CT
  • 4:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. MT
  • 3:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. PT
