The combination of his clinical expertise along with the additional business degrees allowed him to become a full-time anesthesia consultant since 1998. Dr. Clemens chose an unusual postdoctoral educational path for a physician with a Ph.D. in marketing instead of the more commonly chosen physician postgraduate degree in a science field. He chose marketing because he realized, through managing multiple companies, that regardless of what service or product a company sells, it is the total sales volume which dictates the ultimate success of a business. Dr. Clemens chose a Master of Business Administration degree in order to gain the expertise needed to manage both the personnel and financial portions of a business.
Stewart Ferguson is Chief Operating Officer and has a B.S. degree in Accounting and Business Administration. He has over 21 years of experience in healthcare financial management, administration, and the implementation of complex billing operations. Mr. Ferguson’s expertise covers all aspects of accounts receivable management, information system design, benchmarking, workflow design, and quality improvement initiatives. He established and oversees all accounting policies and provides analytical support. He is also involved in short and long term financial planning by using our Revenue Cycle Management system, which focuses on net revenue improvement, cash acceleration, and business process transformation for our client practices.
