Rob Clemens, MD, MBA, PhD is the Chief Executive Officer and founder of Anesthesia Experts. With over 18 years of experience managing an anesthesia practice that handled approximately 1,000 procedures a month, Dr. Clemens brings a rare blend of clinical expertise and strategic business acumen, backed by a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a PhD in Marketing. Since 1998, he has worked full-time as an anesthesia consultant, helping hospitals and surgery centers improve efficiency, optimize staffing, and enhance patient care. Under his leadership, Anesthesia Experts has grown to support more than 100 anesthesia providers across 15 hospitals nationwide.

Brooke Zgaga, CPA, has been the Chief Financial Officer of Anesthesia Experts since 2020. Before her current role, she served as a CPA Manager at FORVIS Mazars for three years. Prior to that, she was a Senior Manager at Klynveld Peat Marwick Goerdeler (KPMG) for eight years. Additionally, she held the position of Director at KCCFO Services for two years, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to her role at Anesthesia Experts.

Stewart Ferguson is Chief Operating Officer and has a B.S. degree in Accounting and Business Administration. He has over 21 years of experience in healthcare financial management, administration, and the implementation of complex billing operations. Mr. Ferguson’s expertise covers all aspects of accounts receivable management, information system design, benchmarking, workflow design, and quality improvement initiatives. He established and oversees all accounting policies and provides analytical support. He is also involved in short and long term financial planning by using our Revenue Cycle Management system, which focuses on net revenue improvement, cash acceleration, and business process transformation for our client practices.

Derek Clemens, Director of Human Resources at Anesthesia Experts, with over 11 years of experience in strategic HR management. He excels in talent acquisition, employee development, and organizational planning, specifically for anesthesia professionals. Derek is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR). He has successfully implemented innovative recruitment strategies, streamlined credentialing and onboarding processes, and ensured compliance with healthcare regulations. Known for his exceptional leadership skills, Derek fosters a positive workplace culture and is an advocate for diversity and inclusion.
