Medicare Payments Delayed

Palmetto GBA has posted an alert of a problematic delay in processing Medicare payments with an unknown resolution time.

Based in Columbia, S.C., Palmetto GBA is a leading provider of technical and administrative services for the federal government. Its principal business is providing administrative services for the Medicare program. The following message has been posted on their website:

“Due to a system processing issue, Medicare payments for July 21, and July 22, 2021, may be delayed. At this time, there isn’t an estimated time of resolution for this issue. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We are continuing to work to resolve the issue.”
